Our super star Breanne had her class field trip to Riverfront Park today. We were definitely walking on sunshine! The weather couldn't possibly have been better. We walked the trail around the park and Aliya made friends with some of the kiddos. (Oh, and the geese too.)
Our trip to Missoula for Derrick to take his Professional Engineering Test was successful. Derrick feels good about how the test went, but he won't know if he passed for up to 10 weeks! Talk about torture.We got plenty of swimming in. We found a park and a carousel that the big girls liked riding. (I stayed away for fear of loosin' my cookies!) On Saturday, we checked out of the hotel and drove up the Lolo Mountain pass up to the border of "Way to go, Hide-a-ho!" (Breanne says, "I love Hide-a-ho, because it's close to Washington.") The girls were prepared with flipflops on their feet, surrounded by 8' of snow at the top of the pass.
No worries, we drove home to all my daffodils in full bloom!
